An update from Gemma -

Hold onto your hats - this is a big one!!

So... over the last 6 months you may have seen a different tone in my social media posts and there's some big reasons why. I've always tried to post honestly about what's really going on, but, there's always more to tell.

Over the last few months, I've really questioned is the way I'm running my business sustainable? I've had some hardy conversations with myself and loved ones; and we've come up with plans to make things better!

Recently, I almost stepped away FULLY. I attended several job interviews - that was a close one - but I still came back to the studio. But in all seriousness, this is a job at the end of the day, and I need to be making money from my business as this is MY FULL-TIME JOB and MY ONLY INCOME.

It made me see that in all honesty, I am an artist. And that is truly what I'm good at, so that's what I should be doing!

The big changes I'll be stopping Markets + Fairs altogether - these have been brilliant and I've loved meeting new customers and face-to-face selling. However, I'm seeing more and more sales being made online rather in person. - For this reason, you'll only be able to buy my products and book in a Pet Portrait from my online shop or Etsy.

I'll also be turning ALL of my attention to my Pet Portraits this is where my talents really lie - creating unique, special, original artwork of your furry family members. And to be honest - it's my favourite part of my business!

I truly love creating heartfelt, hand painted pieces that I know will be cherished. Pet portraits all the way!

It's been 9 years since I stared Gemma Keith Designs, and I'll be damned if I let it all go now to many more adventures and painting all your pets!

Please help push my small business out there!
